I thought I would try self publishing a coloring book that has pages designed for adults that like to color too. Seems it was a good idea and a lot of people like it.
Some wurms developed the ability to flt, which made them even deadlier than before.
Some of the flying wurms became increasingly more reptilian in nature, while others followed the traits of insects.
Some of them evolved into forms that failed to survive at all.

Zombies, Zombies and more Zombies, what is a person to do? How’s about picking up a new collection of zombie short stories by Panic Press called DEADication An Anthology dedicated to all things Zombies.
I love reading zombie tales and I could not be more thrilled when this collection of new stories came about. It is jam-packed with zombie outbreaks, people killing zombies and even a few stories with a different take on zombies.
One of the stories that stuck out to me was just that, a different take on the zombie tale. Zombie Holiday by Neil E. Leckman is just that. It deals with a family who had a horrible car accident. A year later, like the rest of the dead population, they come back. But this story is not just another walking around undead crunch and munch, it has heart. It shows that just because they are zombies doesn’t mean they don’t feel hardship or don’t have things said about them, even though they live in the same community as others. It is a story worth seeing that in any society, some of the same woes and ridicule occur.
This collection is worth not only a second read, but it is a thrilling experience for any zombie fan. The stories in DEADication fill you with gore, excitement, thought and a good filling that perhaps zombies aren’t that bad after all.
I think it’s great when someone enjoys one of my stories, because that’s what it’s all about.
What would you do if you found an alien spaceship that had crashed, and the sole survivor, who is injured, and looks quite human, asks for help? That’s what happens to Willa, and she thinks it’s a simple enough thing, until she discovers that he’s a vampire from another world. From that moment on nothing seems to go as planned, and her simple world is turned upside down, as she risks everything to save her world, and her heart in this erotic thriller from Julie Achterhoff.
I found it to be a refreshing change from the vampire stories that are out there, well thought out, with more than a few surprises.
I Just read Gary McMahon’s “What They Hear in the Dark”, a signed and numbered chapbook from Spectral Press, coming out January 2011. Gary has proven that not all silence is golden, and not all rooms are equal. He has a grip on the range of emotion that comes with loss, and how sometimes what you don’t say hurts more than what you can. Be prepared to have him take hold of you, by the throat, and not let go until your vision blurs, and your kness become weak. http://spectralpress.wordpress.com/
I just finished this book and Angel’s writing bites, and by that I mean it has some real teeth, and once they’ve taken hold of you don’t let go until the tale is finished.
A problem I encountered reviewing it was envy, and thinking, “Damn, this guy’s real good!!”, the flip side is that good writing is enjoyable, and keeps the art alive. I especially liked “Halloween, 2032”, which is reminiscent of Bradbury, and has the same haunting qualities some of his tales have. All in all a very enjoyable book, and with 25 short stories there is bound to be something for everybody here!! This book is available from Panic Press http://panicpress.org/
On the Insights website they offered a free version of their program for use on a Palm Pilot. I developed a way to run a Palm Pilot emulator program in windows with the “Insights Impression” program installed on it.
If you click on this link https://virtualcubicle.net/impressions.exe you will be asked to open or save the program from my website. It is roughly 5 MB in size and is virus free.
1) When the program opens a Palm Pilot will appear.
2) On the Palm Pilot screen find the ”Impressions” program.
3) Click on the program and the following screen appears. Choose “Impressions Profile“ to begin.
4) There will be a series of pages with four questions per page.
5) In each set of four questions choose only one that is “least” like you “L” and one that is “most” like you “M“. The remaining two questions can be answered anywhere between ”1 - 5“.
6) When finished with the program, right click anywhere on the Palm Pilot image, and a popup menu will appear.
7) Click on ”Exit” and another popup menu appears asking if you wish to save your changes.
It is possible to save a copy of the program for later use, or choose “No” and the program will close.
I hope that you find the program useful. Feel free to save it or use it from the website as often as you want.
